Body Glove Men’s 3T Barefoot Cinch Water Shoe – Reviews
perfect water sport shoe…
I have had water shoes before and hated them. My wife told me to try the body glove toe water shoes so I ordered them thinking I was going to have another pair in the shoe closet that I hate… Boy was I wrong they fit perfect size is right on, they don’t slip on my feet when wet, they are as comfortable as regular shoes and when I was kayaking I had to try them out so I stepped in the lake and no slushy feeling when I got out, they drain themselves from the holes in the bottom. I know long winded but I just cant say enough about these shoes. I want another pair and so does my wife now.. An A+ buy

Great buy for water adventures!
These worked great for climbing waterfalls and wet rocks, as well as while snorkeling. I had always had cheapo water shoes in the past and wanted something more durable and more comfortable. Very happy with the fit, grip, durability, and look of these shoes.Durability – After climbing waterfalls, walking on sharp rocks, and snorkeling on vacation, they stayed on my feet well and only had one small tear in the big toe of one of the shoes (I wasn’t easy on them in the rocks, and I weigh 245lbs). They had no pulling apart on any seams or insole (which I was worried about after abusing them). I really liked the drain vents in the bottom as well.Fit – I thought they seemed just a hair large at first, but after wearing them for a while they seemed just right. If they were any smaller they may have been too tight. When swimming, I had no problem with them feeling like they were going to fall off in the water (something I hated about cheap water shoes).Other notes – I only had a small amount of rocks/sand get into them through all of the use I put them through. The pull tie seems to work fairly well for keeping stuff out, although you may want to re-tighten it every now and then. My dad got the same ones and said he had more issues with rocks/sand getting in, but he may have just not tightened it enough.Recommendation – I would definitely recommend these, in the future I will probably buy these or one of the more expensive body glove water shoes (ones with the strap or laces, as it seems like the extra support would be nice for more adventurous water activities). Definitely happy with the purchase!

Comfortable, Durable, and just Amazing
Read a few reviews and decided to go down a size, usually I wear a wide 10.5 to 11. But the size 10 fit very well on me, they even have some extra wiggle room still. The first day I received them I wore them around the house, and within an hour or two they started to conform to my feet. But the reason I got them was for a week long vacation on the Northern California coast. Lots of trail hiking over rocks, mud, sand and through redwood forests, up and down cliffs. I really put these things to the test. They gripped everything like regular shoes would, maybe even better because of the flexibility. Most rocks and sticks can barely be felt, sand can’t get through the bottom holes but will come in from the top.My favorite part was being able to feel so much though them, you can still feel enough to sense the texture of the ground. Temperatures transfer very quickly, so it really feels like you’re walking barefoot. My feet never felt constrained like they do when I wear shoes, being able to spread my toes where my foot is at it’s widest gives you a great sense of balance/stability.I put about 30 hours or so of heavy use into these shoes over 5 days from the ocean and into the forests, even did about 30min of skateboarding. I was very surprised with how well they held up. No obvious wear on the outside or tread, the stitching has all held together so far. There is only one damage I can say happened from use, a piece of the screen in one hole on the inside has slightly separated, probably from rock climbing. I tried to include a picture of this, but it’s so small it’s unnoticeable. But I didn’t notice it till I got back home and inspected them. it doesn’t poke me, and there is still a second layer to keep stuff out. A small spot of silicone glue should seal it and keep it from spreading. My next idea is to get some wetsuit socks, or something like that. To help keep sand and stuff from coming in the top and to keep my feet warmer.I definitely recommend getting these. I just wear them around all the time now, I may get another pair just to have a backup set.

They need to fit snug. I had to exchange for a size smaller
They appear to be good quality. I wear size 10.5 boots, 11 sneakers. I ordered size 10 water shoes. Too big. Toes did not reach end and moved around a lot in the shoe. Exchanging for size 9 instead. If unsure on your size order a size lower than you normally wear. Since these have toe pockets you want a snug fit for your toes. Too much movement is uncomfortable and will give you blisters if you walk much in them, especially wet conditions. So as I recommended buy one size smaller to avoid discomfort. Try on in house before going out so you can easily exchange if they don’t fit well.

These watershoes are the best! If you read the reviews and understand that you need to go down a size instead of up when it comes to 1/2 sizes you will be happy with these. Even in doing so I still have extra wiggle room. If I went down any smaller and they would have been waaay too tight. They held up great to savage water abuse over a 2 week period! They look really cool and people have asked me where I got them because they are a 3 toed shoe and look unique! It feels like walking barefoot without arch support but that is expected. I walked in these for hours without chafing or blistering. Sand will get in over the top and you will have to rinse them out but they do let water out the bottom via small holes that are screen covered to prevent sand from coming in. These shoes rock and if you are thinking about purchasing them you won’t regret these babies!

Exactly what I was looking for….
I was looking for something to wade into the water and protect my feet from sharp shells. I was surprised that they are pretty tight across the top of your foot. The your box is a bit awkward, but once your in, your good to go. The sole is pretty durable. Think rubber ‘welcome’ may, not tire tread, but I think they’ll serve the purpose. Initially I’m happy. Time will tell how they hold up and long-term comfort.

Body Glove Men’s 3T Barefoot Cinch Water Shoe – FAQ
No size chart? How long is the foot length for US-9?
Size 9
Big and second toes do not insert in their toe pockets properly on either shoe; How to best put these on?
It takes a bit of practice first few times. I put mine on and wore them around the house for a few days.. (2) then went on easier after that. Felt a bit weird at first but quickly got used to them, now I love them. Perfect for boating or jet ski, and I am in mid 50’s.
Are they completely flat or is the sole molded with arch support?
There is no support in the shoes.
Surfing is not listed in the description. is it not recommended for surfing?
This shoe is certainly capable for surfing, however please note that the out sole is more substantial than and will not offer as much insulation as a traditional surf booty.
Should you definitely get 1 size bigger than your shoe size?
I wear a 10-1/2 and I ordered an 11. They fit great….
Will these keep sand from getting inside if walking or running on sand?
my experience with these in sand is no.. some will get in and it is annoying while its there.. BUT unlike other water shoes these are really easy to get sand out of. I wouldnt let some sand keep me from getting these great water shoes.
Would these stay on even if i had to walk through deep mud? i’m talking potentially ankle-deep louisiana swamp mud.
I think you would be hard pressed to keep them on in deep mud as these are only slip on. Find foot ware that attaches to your foot more securely.
Can you swim with these as well as you could barefoot ?
Yes, there doesn’t seem to be a big difference when swimming with these compared to swimming barefoot. My son was able to swim as well with them just as well he swims barefoot.
How thick are they? Do they provide any insulation if the water is cold?
These shoes are very thin and provide very little protection from cold weather or water also the soles are thick enough to prevent small rocks from piercing them but I wouldn’t walk on oyster beads. They are very comfortable using on the beach and boat ramps. The top doesn’t get hot in direct sunlight and they don’t bother me when I wear them all day on my kayak. NRS has some very good water boots for cold weather and water.
