True Grit
I buy these shoes for river hiking as they are great for both walking on hot rocks and swimming and find it easier to get in and out of these ‘toe shoes’ compared to the Five Fingers brand. They look good and fit well, but there are small gaps around the heel that allow river grit to enter the shoe, which quickly become uncomfortable. This is clearly a problem with any low rise water shoe, but more so with this variety which lacks any means to cinch the problem area. I’ve used other types of BodyGlove shoe-the Barefoot 3T and gladiator with more success they have a velcro fastener for the top of the foot just in front of the ankle and a tightening cord for the entire ankle area. Build quality has been an issue with all of the BodyGlove water shoes i’ve purchased through the years. I’m now using wet-suit repair glue to try and make them last longer.

GREAT water shoe – Not difficult to put on after the first few times wearing
I felt compelled to write this review because I almost didn’t buy these due to the reviews stating that the shoes are very difficult to get on. However, I’ve had Body Glove water shoes in the past, and figured I’d give it a shot with the three toe version. I’m very happy that I did, as they are super comfortable and after the first two times, they generally go on the first time every time. Either way, I highly recommend these to anyone looking for a new pair of water shoes.

Great water and all-around outdoor shoes
These are awesome shoes a so far have held up well on coral, sand, and mud. I usually wear a 11.5 or 12 shoe and the 11 fit perfectly. They will feel tight inially but stretch just enough for comfort. I wear them all day at the beach and they are super comfortable.

Haven’t used them yet but!
They fit great but I was a little disappointed that you can not tighten the bungees on the instep. I bought them for learning to kite-board. If I have trouble I will update this review. Other wise no news will be good news.

Very uncomfortable
These shoes give me blisters, the were every hard to put on and after waring them twice, there in a bulge in the one of the soles so it feels like you are stepping on something.

Great shoes
These are my favorite. I use them on my paddle board and every time I hike and there’s a chance of entering water. They have great traction wet and dry. One of my favorite purchases

Size 12 Nike, should I go up or down a size?
I wear a 9.5 and bought a 10 that worked out just fine.
Should I order my normal size?
Yes they fit true to size at least for my husband they did. He says they fit great.
