Body Glove Men’s Riptide Iii Trail Running Shoe – Reviews
The best water socks I see on Amazon for the value
I wanted a simple pair to use in the pool. Didn’t want to spend too much for this purpose. I have bought a couple over the years and most of them fall apart quickly, get toe holes, or lose their inner lining. I have a nicer pair of body glove I’ve used for beaches and walking on rocky shores and really like them. After reviewing all the options on Amazon, this seemed like the best combination of value and quality and the item didn’t disappoint. They fit well and the elastic strap to cinch them up tight works great. I have a 7.5 size foot and bought the size 8 which seem to fit almost perfect so they might run a little small overall. Plus the elastic strap doesn’t seem to cinch up too far, so you might want to order a size up from your normal foot size. But they are good quality water shoes that should hold up for a couple years of swimming at least. They would even be durable enough for a rocky beach if you needed them just for a few vacations. Overall a good product quality, well made that appear durable, fit well and look good.

Wouldn’t pay more than $10 for these.
Not great quality for a “quality” brand. I bought a $12 pair of speedos at Costco that are better than these. That’s almost half the price!Photos:Bottom of shoe photo is before and after one use. Basically the worse material possible. Just use all rubber, like speedo does!Pros:- I got them for free- The pull strap is convenient- ComfortableCons:- Seems like cheap material- The sole isn’t all rubber, just the border, the rest is some cheap cardboard feeling material.- The toe is very square and not appealingWill be back for long term review.

They definitely do the job.
UPDATED REVIEW!4 stars not 3 because they really hold up and are mostly comfortable in the water. I wear really soft Hanes socks so that there is no chafing. Because they were too wide for me, I have doubled over/sewn up the middle section so that they are more snug for me. I’m surprised how well they have held up and stayed on my feet in the water.I am not concerned that they are going to slip/slide off and disappear forever while I am in the water.Love these shoes. Wish the left one was a little grippier, that they were more adjustable, and that they ran true to size. Order a size DOWN. These 7s were too large.____________________________________________________________First thoughts:These shoes are just weird.1) The quality isn’t the best. The insoles slide right out/all around which is annoying. Each time you are done wearing them, you have to adjust the insole. The sticker inside is peeling already after wearing them for five mins (but that’s not really a big issue).2) I got a size 7M which usually is a tight fit for me. These shoes were a full size too large. I’d say size down if you can.3) The soles are different materials? Bottom of the right shoe is made out of a really floppy grippy material and the left shoe has more of a rigid, solid, plastic feel. Both hold traction, but the right one is floppier and has more grip. It’s really strange.4) The shoes can be adjustable which is nice, but it is limited in how adjustable they are. Only a complaint since these were too large for me to begin with. (I got the smallest they had).5) I have no idea why there are so many layers of stitching on the insides. It’s really unnecessary and awful. The shoes are not really smooth. The insides are scratchy and will likely irritate my feet. These shoes just weren’t for me. They also are a wide fit which is nice for wider feet.Even if they were a better fit, I’d probably give them three stars because they are a bit uncomfortable.Hope this helps! I will update after a few uses.

Fits well
I really only bought these as house slippers. I just did a remodel and instead of carpet with padding I now have hard flooring throughout much of my place. It is unexpectedly painful in bare feet, but I like the new flooring more than carpet for a number of other reasons.Anyway, these fit unexpectedly well, albeit a bit tightly, which is not a bad thing in a water shoe. I wear size 10 US shoes and boots usually, so the size 10 in these was fine. The sole is pretty soft, which was expected. I would not expect to do much hiking or walking in these. For anyone who is curious, weight seems to be about 13oz per pair. The insole seems to be removable.

Good Replacement Water Shoes
My old water shoes which the name was worn off of were maybe about 5 years old finally blew a hole in the sole . These body glove shoes seen to be doing the trick , as I am 61 and a little over weight they would probably feel better on someone younger and lighter weight

Cheaply made product…
Not at all the level of quality I expect from a name brand product they fell apart during the Second day I was at the river. I purchased 2 pairs expecting them to last the entire summer but it seems I’ll be lucky if the second set even makes it to the family camping trip coming up.

Terrible quality – holes in sole after limited useage
Terrible quality control all around. The sole is horribly constructed and I’ve got multiple holes in it from very limited walking around in about 45 days. The insole insert constantly falls out and is a pain to adjust. That being said, the shoes feel fairly nice and walk pretty well. But since it falls apart quickly, not very useful. Maybe, maybe, if you strictly limited use to river/lake/beach without ever walking on pavement it would hold up.

Poorly made
This is chinese made poor quality. Theres strings that are loose that are sticking out. Fabric arent cut approriate and sticking out too. Rubber soles has some excess rubber that i pulled out on the sides that connect the sole and the fabric. This is cheaply made
