Most comfortable minimalist shoe I now own
Im a shoe guy. Always have been, always will be. I own 4 different pair of high dollar Minimalist “barefoot” shoes. I just went out and grabbed these from the mailbox hoping they would fit and be comfortable. I normally buy overseas shoes a half size larger, but since Amazons advice was to buy “same/normal” , I did. I’m still in awe as to why these low priced shoes fit better, are more comfortable and STILL live up to the quality standards as my other expensive ones. You wouldnt think that with the price of these and the diff. colors offered, they would be everything you would hope for and expect when it comes to quality, fit and size, but to top it all off they are the most comfortable I own by far. Im glad I took the chance after Im sure many of you as I have, been burned by an inferior product and not represented accurately. But …. Ive gotta say …. Ill be buying another and maybe another pair if these hold up fairly well. If you like the wide, open toe box and no heel to toe drop like myself, these are a great value for your money. They also have more cushion in the insole as my other styles have. I wear steel toed boots throughout the week and these are gonna feel great to slip on after work and the day is done. Update: Still holding together we’ll since my purchase. I’ve got them filthy with having them on constantly and need a darker pair. Lol. Simple Green cleans them well. Have not broken down or lost support on the soles. I’m ordering again. Black.Update to the update: A year and a half later … My soles are wearing through. Put alot of miles on these. Ordering another pair. Still as comfortable as the day I grabbed them from the mailbox. I’ve worn them alot … Got them filthy … Put ALOT of miles in them. Still love em. My go to shoe still. Just now need another pair! Bought a pair for my son soon after receiving these too. I’ve read alot of reviews mentioning how goofy these look … Im 52 years old and these have been kidded about a lot as my “bigfoot” shoes. Well … I’ve always thought bigfoot was a badass. Im not sacrificing my comfort over style. You should t either.

These are the most comfortable “minimalist” shoes I’ve worn!
I cannot say enough good things about these shoes, and I will be purchasing more.This review is for color “Black-1”: the black shoes withe smooth lycra toe box top with “flagstone” looking pattern around the edge; shoelaces; the kit non-black part f the shoe is 2 reflective stripes on rear, and one on the heel pull.Fit: I normally wear a US size 11.5 wide or 12 Wide (EE) depending on the brand, and size 11 in these is a perfect fit for me. These came with a label on the tongue that says “45” and that seems pretty accurate.Comfort: These are a perfect blend of thick enough tread and traction not to be uncomfortable on medium sized rocks and large gravel, but not so much padding that takes away ground feel. There is a thin insole that can be removed, but I found these most comfortable with the insole. I have very low volume feet with low arches and these are quite easy to hi very securely, or slightly loose for the ability to slip on and off. The tongue is quite nicely padded, which is often not the case with minimalist shoes.I like these better than my Vibram five fingers, New Balance minimalist, Vibram minimalist, and other generic minimalist trail running shoes.Style: The pattern on the top and the toes is subtle enough that when wearing these out and about they don’t call attention to being minimalist. The only part of the shoes that is not black is some small reflective accents on the back. I bought these to be my work and project shoes around the house, but when I have worn them out to other people’s places or to the store, I’ve gotten a few compliments and questions about them, but mostly they just go unnoticed, which is exactly why I bought them.Durability: I have worn these almost every day for 4 months and the forefoot tread it’s just barely remaining. I consider this completely adequate durability for how soft and grippy the tread is. From wearing them around the campfire, I have a couple of burn holes in the top Lycra that only made it through the top layer, so be careful around sparks and embers. I used silicone spray waterproofing and water just beads up on the outside of these.

My Favorite Gym Workout Shoes
I am not a runner. But I like great traction when doing suspension exercise routines (TRX, etc). I also like minimal shoes when I workout on cardio or while lifting.These fit just as expected. Nicely roomy toe box. Good looks. My favorite feature is the OUTSTANDING traction. If you are into suspension & bodyweight exercises, these shoes will be comfortable and will NOT slip.

how thick are the soles?
They are pretty thick in comparison to “Vibram” or other functional toe shoes that are out on the market. You get way more support.
Can you run without socks and not get blisters with these? Looking for a quick treadmill shoe so I can quickly put them on in a hurry.
I run in these several times a week without socks down a dirt road with gravel. The only problem I have is occasionally hitting a rock on the ball of the foot, and that hurts. No blisters though. Very comfortable shoe. You should have no problem on the tread mill.

If your feet are wide, shoes made of fabric will suit you better.The Wide toe box provides more space for toes for more comfort. Is the fidget spinner on the bottom included?

Are the tops leather? Or rubber? Need leather/rubber for work.
If that’s what you’re looking for, you will need to go for something different. The top on these are cloth / rubber.
I normally wear a 14. Will a 13 fit me and are they returnable if not?
Amazon recommended size 11, but I mostly wear 11 1/2’s or 12’s In athletic shoes so I ordered a 12. They’re still too small so I’ll have to return them.
Can you go for long 1hr walks in these and still feel comfortable?
Yes, you can. This shoes are very comfortable.
