Runs a full size small and maybe not ideal for wide feet

The first thing I noticed, right off, is they run a full size smaller than I usually wear. I usually wear a men’s 7 or a women’s 9. Based on other reviews, I got the 9.5. They fit, just barely, but there’s very little give in the toes so my toes feel a little cramped. To be really comfortable for long wear I’d need to go up to a 10. They came with removable inserts but I haven’t used them because they’re already almost too small to start with.Cons:- The thick, black rubber that wraps around your foot heats up a LOT in direct sunlight. I wore them gardening in 85°F heat, and everywhere that they were covered by the black rubber, my feet felt like they were under a heat lamp. Think of the heat of hot pavement and now wrap your feet in that. They were fine in the shade.- They only breathe from the top. So if your feet sweat, your soles and toes stay sweaty.Pros:- They are good for walking in the garden, in that I can walk over mulch and twigs without any discomfort, and no pebbles sneak into them like they do with sandals.- They conform well to the foot. No sliding around in them.- They’re definitely non-skid, even when damp.- The soles are completely waterproof. Walking over damp ground is no problem.- They clean up easily.- They seem pretty rugged – I expect they’d hold up to extended indoor wear and a fair bit of walking on rough surfaces.- They’re relatively inexpensive for barefoot shoesNeutral:- My ankles are two different sizes. While these stretch enough for my thicker ankle, the cuff does bind a little. I consider this neutral because they’re not marketed as non-binding, and they fit my regularly sized ankle just fine. YMMV.- If you splash water on your feet from above, the water will soak through the fabric. That’s to be expected. But because they can’t drain, once wet, your feet will stay wet. Keep this in mind when deciding where to wear them. Light rain would be fine, but wading at the beach or working around a leaky garden hose will mean damp feet until you take them off.- There’s obviously no arch support – they’re barefoot shoes. That’s normal.- They have a thicker layer of rubber on the sole, likely for padding and protection. This is fine, but I have slightly wide feet and these are clearly designed with narrower feet in mind. I can feel on the bottom of my foot where the thicker padding ends. It’s not uncomfortable, strictly speaking, but it’s not a sensation I associate with being barefoot. Not a negative point against the shoes – just something to be aware of if your feet are a little on the wider side.

Comfortable, with a great design in functionality

With my multiple medical issues that affect my legs and feet, I try to stay barefoot as much as possible. With summer coming in Az I decided to try these out. I absolutely love them, super comfortable, the bottoms also help me from slipping and falling, saved me twice in 24 hours lol. Already bought my son a pair too and thinking of getting a second pair.

like the shoe – but sizing is inconsistent

I bought and returned these for a larger size. Then bought I bought a 2nd pair. Unfortunately, that 2nd pair is just enough smaller that it is uncomfortable. I thought they’d be ok in that water, but I am constantly fidgeting with them. I should have returned them. When they fit, they are great for water sports. BUT EVERY SHOE IS DIFFERENT, SO MY ADVICE: Check both shoes and don’t count on the size being accurate even if you have previously purchased.

Comfortable but size up!

These are amazingly comfortable. I tried them with the included insoles and without and I prefer them without. I plan to wear these around the house, with occasional trips to the mailbox, etc. I’ll post again about durability when I’ve had them a few weeks/months. Definitely size up! I wear a 9.5 and bought a 10 based on other reviews. The 10 fits pretty well, but I could have even bought a 10.5.

An interesting concept

These arrived just in time for our mini-vacation, so we packed them. They are nice and cozy feeling, around our cabin. I took a one mile hike in them, and did have some achiness after. But not as badly as I expected. They’re helpful around most rocks. I drive home, four hours, in them. Towards the end, my toes felt a bit confined. My only wish is that they were a bit more breathable. All in all,I expect to use them quite a lot.

Perfect Shoe.

Perfect shoe if you have trouble walking. If your unsteady on your feet in a regular shoe! Id recommend these to everybody, just like wearing a Moccasin. If comfort is what your looking for this is the shoe for you. Id recommend going at least a size or size an a half bigger then your actual shoe size, because they are fitted like a glove. They are a bit snug, so thats the reason I said to step up a size, to a size n a half bigger. Other then the size fit, Its the perfect shoe!

Cheap rubber!! Melted onto my floor!!!

Wore a comfortable fit, wanted to use these around the house & on the indoor treadmill, but the bottoms are covered in these granular rubber pieces. At first the little pieces were only a small issue in that they’d sprinkle and fall off. Then they were a little sticky walking around, and then they MELTED into a weird black tar sludge on a run. I am cleaning black rubbery melt off my floor and equipment. Infuriating.

Could have gone up one more size

Could have gone another size up. I wear a normal size 6 I got a 7 and my big toe is still irritated. So make room for your big toe, go up 2 sizes of your normal shoe size.

SAGUARO Women’s Minimalist Barefoot Sock Shoes Non-Slip Yoga Walking Shoes Ultra-Portable Multi-Purpose Footwear – FAQ

How tight is the ankle of the womens yoga socks . I have a big ankle and not sure how much stretch there is ?

One of my ankles is larger than the other by quite a bit. The cuff at the top has enough stretch for my thicker ankle, but just barely. I’d say the cuff has about the same amount of stretch as a standard sock of a similar design. I wouldn’t recommend them for someone with thick ankles who needs to wear non-binding for medical reasons.

What material are the women barefoot socks made of ?

The barefoot socks shoes are made of breathable knit fabric.

Can this barefoot shoes be worn on beach ?

Yes,This barefoot socks shoes cover the entire foot and have rubber soles.

Does the minimalist sock shoes have a removable insole ?

Does not have insole, but the minimalist barefoot socks are very comfortable to walking

Can these barefoot yoga socks be machine washed ?

Yes. I have washed the barefoot shoes a few times and it is not bad.

Will these keep sand out when playing volleyball in sand?

They also have another one that comes up over the ankle I think those might keep the sand out, not sure if the footies will, you can try and see.

I ordered a 9 1/2, i received a size 40. it is very short, maybe 1 or 2 sizes. the saguaro size chart shows 9 1/2=41. how do i order a 41 or 42?

I ended up sending back..they were too small. I ordered a completely different shoe Vibram 5 finger in 41/9-9.5 which fit perfect.

If I normally wear size 9 am I better to size up to a 9 1/2 or down to an 8 1/2?

You can choose size up to 9 1/2 for the barefoot sock shoes
