Good stuff!
Wish I could give a 4.5-star rating… but the 5-star rating will have to do.These shoes are just about exactly what I was looking for – lightweight and compact to put in a carry-on, but still decent cushioning.No real arch support, but more comfortable for walking around than Chuck Taylors. And while subjective and perhaps not as ‘classic’ as the Chucks’ styling/branding, they look quite good, the almost-corded material adding to that.Sizing is slightly on the short side, but just barely. I wear a 11E in most dress shoes, and these are just barely manageable (though at times feels a bit tight) – I probably should have tried the 11.5, perhaps next time. However, the slight length difference is exacerbated by the unforgiving heel counter – it holds the foot in place, but the top/collar is quite hard and makes things somewhat uncomfortable after being on my feet for an hour or more. (EDIT: After ~30 full-days of using the shoes, the heel collar has finally started to break in a bit – it’s still a bit hard, but doesn’t bite into my achilles as much as before.)Still, this ticks all the boxes, looks good and does fit – think I’ll go by another pair!

Look great, but crippled my toes.
After years of wearing Adidas Sambas, decided to pull the trigger on a pair of Tom’s.First, the good: One can’t fault the ethos of the company or the quality for the price. Great looking shoes.The bad: They are some of the least comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I don’t possess wide feet, but the toe-box is literally painful even after 100 miles of use, I’ve had to retire them because I started getting blisters in places I had never gotten with any other pair of shoes. I took them on a trip last week as my only pair of shoes (and they are as broken in as possible) and between the heel rub and toe-box issues, am sending them to the cobbler in the sky.They are good looking, well built, and I’m sure for those they fit, a decent pair of shoes. For me, I should have just ordered another pair of Sambas. Shoes are a very personal fit, and I’ve been well served by most major brands… These however just dont work for me

Had a white scuff on the toe
These were probably shoes that had QC issues, so they got listed on Amazon. Upon opening, they had a white scuff on the toe (and these being black canvas, it was noticeable). I thought maybe some soap and water may get it out, but nope. I ended up keeping them, simply because I NEEDED the shoes for an engagement that day, and wasn’t going to return worn shoes…. but definitely annoyed that a brand new pair of shoes was already scuffed. So be warned – I have a strong feeling that bigger brands list products with QC issues on Amazon, just to unload them for cheaper….

Style and fit.
Not a Tom’s fan from past designs. But I love skate shoes. What the heck, I’ll give them a try. Not disappointed. Fit, feel and grips the ground like big name skate sneaks. Obviously not skates but inspired by skateboarding sneaks. Nice and light and very comfortable. I’m a little wide and the laces let out enough to accommodate my foot with a perfect fit. I will probably put them on my “go to” list.

Great casual sneaker
My husband loves his new shoes. He was a bit iffy on the red until the day he wore them and received some great comments. What a great deal on some great shoes

Great shoes, but they squeak like no other.
Nice shoes, well made and comfortable, but they are the loudest, squeakiest shoes I’ve ever had. Its embarrassing walking through our quiet halls at work. Guess they’re going in the beater shoe pile.
