Great buy, equivalent feel to Merrell Vapor Glove at a fraction of the cost

I tried 4 different bare foot style trail shoes, 2 Merrells, the WHITIN minimalist, and this “tesla” branded pair. These are the keepers. My photos show this pair compared to the 3 times more expensive Merrell Vapor Glove 3 cotton. These have a more comfortable upper by far, and the walking feel and weight are almost identical. My only complaint (so far) is that they only have all these sporty color schemes and no neutral ones that would be more appropriate to wear with business casual clothes. NOTE TO TESLA: Please make the exact same shoe in neutral color schemes, I’d definitely buy more of these!

Great shoes totally unrelated to running…Powerlifting!

As a powerlifter, I prefer being as close to barefoot as possible when doing squats and deadlifts. I was looking for a very flat shoe with minimal cushioning and rather than spend the $100+ for dedicated powerlifting shoes, I decided to give these a shot. They work perfectly for what I was looking for since they have a near naked feel and I feel totally secure and sturdy wearing them on 500+ lb lifts. For the price I couldn’t be happier. A+

Good shoe, Great value.

It’s a great value for a minimal shoe. A great cross-trainer shoe for the gym or dry pavement. But beware of sizing. While other shoes like New Balance or Merrell are better constructed, this is a true minimal shoe that is a good value for anyone looking to get into minimal running without spending a lot of $$.I’ve been running with minimal-style shoes for over 5 years and prefer the New Balance Minimus. I also use Vibram 5-fingers and was curious about a shoe that costs less then $30.I can say that the shoe I ordered ran on the true, to slightly bigger side. After reading reviews that suggested I order a size up, I ordered a 9, even though I wear an 8.5. This show does give me a good amount of room in the toe box left. However, this was not a problem because of the tread that overlaps the toe of the shoe. If you order your exact size with these, be prepared to have the tread material right over your big toe, which might rub or pinch the big toe if you order your exact size. Personally I would have not liked that.Otherwise, the shoe construction is fine. Sole is stitched to the upper and not just glued. The sole is flat with a tread that is fairly grippy. I am fine running on a tread mill, concrete, or blacktop. It was a bit slippery on grass and definitely was on wet grass (dew). I would not recommend this for obstacle courses or true trail running since the tread is flat and not your typical “trail” shoe tread. Also the shoe material is breathable, but not an open weave. So I don’t imagine water draining well from it. But it also does not easily penetrate.

Great shoes at a great price !

I use to run in barefoot style shoes , but switched to the super cushioned shoes a few years ago . The longer I wore them the more ankle problems ( rolled ankles ) I was encountering on trails .Wanting to get back to barefoot style , but not wanting to spend a ton of money ,I found these . I wasn’t expecting much but wow was I surprised! Ordered 2 pairs and have put around 50 miles on them and so far they are excellent!! Gone are the days of me spending $100 plus on overpriced name brand shoes ! I normally wear 10 1/2 , but they are a tad big so I’m sticking to size 10s . My only minor issue was the speed type laces on the one pair messed up , but I just added regular shoe laces no biggie . Looking forward to many more road and trail miles in these outstanding shoes .PS. I rarely leave reviews , but just had to share my experience.

Great for Gym Workouts!

I like wearing these shoes for weight-lifting workouts at the gym. They give you tons of stability with exercises like squats and deadlifts, and don’t raise you up off of the floor like traditional running shoes and some trainers. I never get the feeling like I’m standing on top of a marshmallow with these. I would not use them for running as I need a bit more cush, although they are probably great for beach running, if you’ve got it like that 🙂 If you have new knees and such, you might just love running in them. They’d also be great for watersports as they likely drain/dry fast. I’ve thrown mine in the wash a few times already and they come out perfectly fine. I would not put them in the dryer! Just let them air dry. There is very minimal cushioning, and that’s why they are called minimalists. A great alternative to some of the ridiculous looking minimalist shoes out there. You know the ones I mean.

Good quality shoe

Given the price point, I was skeptical of these shoes. It’s not a ton of money, so I took a chance on these shoes. Boy am I glad I did! They are well constructed and look like they will hold up to plenty of use. I have worn them every day for 3 weeks, so far they have held up well so far and are very comfortable to wear. They are a zero drop / minimalist shoe with very thin soles. I had been used to Vibram Five Fingers and these are just as comfortable to wear and as an added bonus you don’t get the constant stares and questions about your shoes. This being said, it does take some time to get used to zero drop shoes if you have never worn them before. I would encourage anyone not used to them to start slow. Wear them a little bit at a time and work your way up to wearing them all day (or for a whole run) to get used to them before passing judgement on them.

Great shoe at a great price! GYSOT!!

I’ve really gotten into the barefoot/minimalist shoes because I think they’re more comfortable and great for cross-training. I have a pair of Merrells but they’re starting to get ragged from wear. I wanted another pair but didn’t want to spend $100 on them. Luckily I found these! I have some Tesla rash guards so I knew the quality was going to be pretty good. I’ve had this pair for about 6 months and they’re holding up great. By far my favorite pair of sneaks! They’re very slim and feel more like I’m wearing slippers than a a sneaker. I put lock laces on them so I can just slip them on and off. I ordered a second pair in another color and they’re arriving today!PS: I wear a size 12 US and the 12’s fit perfectly. So, they’re true to size.

TSLA Men’s Trail Running Shoes, Lightweight Athletic Zero Drop Barefoot Shoes, Non Slip Outdoor Walking Minimalist Shoes – FAQ

Do you have any size chart? My foot is 26.5 cm length and I’d like to know which size fits me. Thanks

They run 0.5 size big. I wear 10.5 in nike tennis shoes ordered 10 and they fit good.

What size would a womens size 8 be in mens?

I always wear a 9.5 in womens—ordered the men’s 8 (why aren’t there women’s versions??!) and it fits but is a bit loose. I had to really tie the laces just right to get it to fit around the heel, and I do not have narrow feet….pretty standard I would say. Typically with men’s to women’s conversion, you order 1.5 sizes smaller (at least that’s what I’ve always done and been told). 🙂

I ordered a 10.5 and it fit perfect, and I ordered 10.5 for a different color and that was very tight?

I have 4 different colors &Mehta I did is that after the first pair 91/2 I realized the run a little small& was too tight so I ordered one number higher & it worked for me.so my recommendation is that if you use101/2 size order them an11 or even 111/2 & you’ll have no problems.

How is the toe box on these shoes?

It’s wide, but I would say not quite as wide as the toe box on my Merrell minimalist shoes (which I’d call extra wide). The shoe fabric is very flexible, so you don’t feel constricted.

What’s the difference between the Minimalist and Barefoot models? Is one better suited for off-road running/walking?

A barefoot shoe is a minimalist shoe. I would say the amount of cushion or thickness of the insole is the main I used these on only one trail so far. 4 miles. loved how I could feel the ground but still felt protected

My feet is 26cm. What size should i get?

26 cm equates to a US Mens Size 8 shoe
