Pop! What a disgraceful failure. I will request a replacement. No my foot isn’t wide, yes the moment I kneeled down on the balls of my feet the sole just popped off. What the heck?

Not durable, broke 2 pairs in two months.
Not durable, broke 2 pairs in two months. Broke the lace buckles on week two of first pair. Soles are delaminated on the replacement pair after only size weeks of use.

Good Fit But Not My Style
Size: I bought two different sizes–one that I regularly order and another that sized up. My regular size worked just fine.Style: I own three different HFS styles (so cool), but the Daylite Hikers I had to return. They reminded me of shoes I wore in the 90s as a kid. I felt like I was back in elementary school. At best, these have a skater style. I’m not a skater, though.Overall Fit: I will say these were stiffer then HFS and, thicker, of course, all around, as a boot should be (a bit thicker then Prio). Base of shoe was also more sturdy and thicker. I’m sure this is to protect against the cold ground. These fit above my ankle; they are a mid-height shoe (perhaps what might be considered crew sock height). Comfortable.Weather Handling: Didn’t test outside, so I can’t attest to how they actually held up to the weather. I’m hoping Xero will develop a cool looking boot that can handle the PNW weather. I wasn’t so certain about the Daylite Hikers and have yet to encounter shoe reviews mentioning this.

great minimalist shoe, minor issues
This shoe worked for me since I was looking for a minimal shoe, not barefoot, for hiking. I’ve been running with similar type shoes for about 12 years now, so I can’t go back to big bulky support anymore. I understand the latter may be preferred for backpacking, etc., but I was just doing some day hiking in Sedona. The feel was great, worked my foot the way I wanted, and felt it in my calves as expected. After one day there as a little ‘blip’ in the toe as shown in the attached photo, so I was concerned. After three more days with only a couple good hikes a day the end of the trip ended with the bottom photo. So it did not grow and hope some adhesive will bring it down. Have not decided if I’ll ask for a replacement.

Great shoes
These shoes are wonderful, though not for everyone. If you have to have a lot of padding, you won’t like them.They are the most comfortable shoes. I feel connected to the ground and the wide toe box is wonderful

small
If you order these shoes order 1 size bigger than usual. I wear most of the tine 11us and i did order 11.5us and the shoes were too small. I order them to Mexico and after a refund, they didn’t refund me the tax and shipping which is around 37 usd.

Fantastic
I didn’t keep them, but changed them for the Denver boot. That said I did like these boots they are very light and comfortable and very well made, but I ordered them by accident. If I was looking for a hiking boot I would have kept them, which I almost did. I really love the Denver boot also by Xero.

Light and right
Great for hikes on reasonably good paths without too much climbing over rocks or other major obstacles, as your feet “feel” the ground, as is the Xero minimalist philosophy. I wish they came in extra wide widths, but I find ordering up a full size, rather than just a half size for most shoes that rune small, works well with Xero.
